Malin is a child with short hair, wearing blue and white stripes, dragging a teddy bear. She comes from Lisa Larson's (1931–2024) "Ungar" series, produced at Gustavsberg during the 1960s–80s—a collection depicting children's daily lives and one of Larson's most iconic series.

The "Ungar" series was born in 1960s Sweden, an era that valued equality and everyday aesthetics. The children's clothing, postures, and small objects in their hands all carry the authentic essence of that time. In the Gustavsberg studio, with the support of Stig Lindberg, Larson had complete creative freedom to record the likenesses of children around her in the purest way. The works took shape in such an atmosphere—gentle, simple, and deeply connected to her life.

Each child in this series is like a captured moment—quiet, direct, requiring no elaborate explanation.
Malin's posture, dragging her teddy bear, evokes a similar sense of intimacy. She's like a child we see every day, accustomed to bringing her favorite toy everywhere. These small, everyday scenes bring a familiar warmth that unconsciously brings a smile to one's face.
