Rörstrand • Sylvia Leuchovius • Sylvia 250th Anniversary • Plate

To commemorate its 250th anniversary, Rörstrand reinterpreted Sylvia Leuchovius's floral motif in 1976. This commemorative edition depicts botanical elements in soft shades of blue, green, and yellow, characterized by light brushstrokes and natural lines. The white porcelain base enhances the translucency of the florals, capturing the warmth and everyday charm of 1970s Swedish ceramics.

The original floral design of the Sylvia series dates back to the 1940s, while the 1976 anniversary edition features softer tones and a more rounded composition, making it a favorite among collectors. It preserves Rörstrand’s artisanal tradition while bringing a touch of natural poetry to the dining table in a more delicate form.
