"Pudel" is a white poodle with a gentle expression. It hails from Gustavsberg's K-studion and belongs to the period after Lisa Larson returned to the studio to create in 1992. Works from this phase were mostly produced in small quantities, retaining the unique independence characteristic of the studio.

By the 1990s, Gustavsberg was no longer the large-scale factory production model of the 1960s-70s. Lisa Larson returned to a quieter creative rhythm during this period, collaborating with K-studion to launch a series of small animal-themed works. The sculptural language continued her consistent warmth, but with greater freedom in proportion, texture, and glaze, closer to the quality of studio works.

Pudel's three-dimensional fur texture, rounded form, and quiet posture reflect her focus during this period on "gentle presences in everyday life," allowing the work to maintain just the right presence in a space. The white glaze presents soft layers under light, making it an object that can be slowly appreciated in a space.
