Arabia Finland • Botanica • Dianthus deltoides • Small Wall Plate

This piece was designed by Finnish designer Esteri Tomula (1920–1998). In the Botanica series, featuring Finnish wildflowers and forest plants, Tomula named each decorative plate after the plant's Latin scientific name, making the work resemble a ceramic botanical specimen.

Tomula captures the姿態 of plants with minimalist brushstrokes, gently recording the most common flowers and plants from the Finnish forests.

Delicate pink flowers gently unfurl on the plate, with fine and restrained lines, yet imbued with a light vitality. Placed in any corner of the home, it quietly exudes the essence of spring.
