#014 nya antikmässan 2026 · Buyers Day Reflections

My first time at this exhibition.
There were many antique stalls, and the repetition of items was higher than I imagined. If you really want to find that special piece here, you might need to compare more and look around more.

I had originally planned to browse quietly on the first day, take photos of items I liked, then go home and slowly discern which ones resonated with me, and then return to buy them on the second day. However, the atmosphere on site made it difficult for me to enter that state of "feeling the objects" and quietly appreciating them. So, unlike most buyers, I didn't bring a suitcase, nor did I take anything home.
Returning empty-handed, ironically, made one thing clearer to me:
My way of encountering objects requires quietness, space, and breath. Not in a noisy energy field, but in life, in light, in those slow moments.
Although this experience was not as expected, it made me more certain that I need to use a pace I enjoy to encounter the objects I truly want to keep in my life.
